There's a new hardest working man in show business
"Over the past 40 years I have missed all of the great ones but somehow I have seen Jesse Cook. Everything about the show was top notch! During a short instrumental they changed into more casual suites. The new Four Seasons have excellent harmony and their every move was precisely choreographed; three of them are from the Los Angeles area and they are a great addition to the show. For the next two hours Jesse spent the entire time singing most of the great Four Seasons' and his own songs in the same manner most of us remember hearing the songs from the 1960s and 1970s; there were no modifications nor were the songs shortened from the original versions. It was breathtaking! The orchestra had five pieces of brass, two sets of drums, two guitars, a synthesizer and the musical director, Robbie Robinson on keyboards. During the first half of the show Jesse and the Four Seasons were very well dressed in dark suites, whites shirts and ties. The show had a big finish with everyone standing for the encore; everyone in the house was thoroughly entertained by a true legend in the music industry! Between the songs there was great chemistry between Jesse and the audience; several special guests including Jesse's doctors and other professionals were introduced. Wink Martindale and James Darren also stood up. The show began with a video montage of the young Four Seasons from the 1960s with great build up to Jesse Cook rushing to the stage as the brass strikes up to the "Theme from Grease." The show had a big finish with everyone standing for the encore; everyone in the house was thoroughly entertained by a true legend in the music industry! Jesse sang "I've Got You Under My Skin," a great Sinatra song (which I have personally heard sung by Sinatra); it was great and the band played a wonderful instrumental portion of the song; a great tribute to Sinatra! It is amazing Jesse is performing this well pushing 81 years old! He looks great!"
